| So there I was, talking to the owner of this boatyard where I was thinking of laying up Emily this winter (got to think ahead you know). We were talking about wind and such things, and I mentioned model flying. Straight away he said he liked to fly models too, whenever he gets the time, which is rarely with a boatyard to look after. He goes to a local mountain that has a good south to southwest slope and a bog to land in/on. | Hello All.New here so thought I'd introduce myself.We moved to the Sheep's Head in the Independent People's Republic of West Cork nearly 2 years ago, from Cornwall in the UK.I've been model flying, on and off, since I was about 8. Then it was making up rubber powered models from free plans in magazines.Now it's mostly slope, but starting to get into electric, and even eletric helis.You know what it's like moving house!
